"Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire
beside thee? My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart,
and my portion for ever." -Michael J. Latchison

About Us
The Michael Latchison Singing Ministry is the longest active community choir in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. The Ministry was birthed in June of 1985 when the Lord spoke to our Founder; Michael Latchison to start a Singing Gospel Ministry while working for Beaumont High School.
Some of the ministry’s achievements include: First African American Choir to minister in song at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and Christ Prince of Peace Catholic Church. We have also had amazing opportunities to sing at Powell Symphony Hall celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Holiday along with hosting a “City Wide Gospel Fest” at Kiener Plaza in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. The ministry has sung at St. Vincent Children’s Home, The Beauvais Manor Nursing Home and were requested to be the featured Gospel Artists for “Make Music St. Louis Day” held in Mid-Town, Central West End and The Grove areas.
